ENTRY LEVEL GROUNDS PERSON (FT-PT)
This role is physically demanding and calls for strong listening skills, the ability to follow directions, and the initiative to take independent action once trained. The successful candidate can expect an early start date and will be eligible for full-time hours and comprehensive medical benefits after the probation period. Opportunities and training in the career of arboriculture are available!
EXPERIENCED GROUNDS PERSON(FT)
This role will require a minimum of 6 months experience working with an urban tree crew. Proficiency with chipper and chainsaw operation is expected. Other desired skills and experience listed below:
-Heavy rigging proficiency
-Capable of safely driving a chip trick with chipper in tow and comfortable backing up as well as safely stowing chipper in order to dump truck.
-Tree/ plant identification to ensure bylaw adherence and accuracy of work.
-Superior communication skills with the ability to be clear and concise with clients and coworkers.
