More often than not, living in an urban center like Victoria means taking down or reducing the dead or dying trees that many of our favorite creatures call home. This has to be done in most situations for the safety of the community and the protection of homes and communal areas. That being said, this doesn’t make our job as tree climbers an easy one!
At Climbing Fox Tree Service we believe in the importance of supporting wildlife protection and the rehabilitation of wild animals that find themselves at the mercy of urban situations and habitat loss. We use every opportunity to create safely situated ‘wildlife trees’ and are educated in the handling and care of tree-loving critters that need to be transferred to new habitat.

For the next few months we want to bring attention to one of our favorite wild animals - Bats. Why bats you say? Bats are incredibly important to the trees we love; bats are pollinators, seed disperses and predators of many damaging insect pests. To celebrate and support these amazing mammals on many levels, we will be selling beautiful Salt Spring Island Artisan made bat houses, crafted from reclaimed wood to enjoy in your own home or garden. Only $45.00
For every bat house sold we will be donating $10 towards Wild Ark wildlife rehabilitation.

Wild Ark is the only wildlife rehabilitation center on southern Vancouver Island and an incredibly important resource to all of us.
